Most smartphones, tablets and computers can connect with several Bluetooth devices simultaneously. Use the Settings app on your mobile device and the Manage Bluetooth Devices screen on your Windows 8.1 computer to establish multiple Bluetooth pairing connections.
Connect Multiple Bluetooth Devices to Smartphones and Tablets
Set each device you want to pair to discoverable mode. Bluetooth devices must be discoverable before you can connect them to your smartphone or tablet. The method for making a device discoverable varies depending on the device. Some simply need to be turned on, while others have dedicated buttons that make them discoverable. Consult the device's manual for additional information on entering the discoverable mode.
Open the Settings app on your smartphone or tablet and select Bluetooth on the main menu.
Tips
Images here are from a Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone running the Google Android 5.0 operating system. Although these images differ somewhat from iPhones, iPads, older Android phones and Windows Phone devices, the process for connecting multiple Bluetooth devices is essentially the same.
Touch the virtual Bluetooth switch to turn Bluetooth functionality on, if it's not already enabled. Wait a moment for the smartphone or tablet to display a list of discoverable Bluetooth devices currently within range.
Touch the name of the first device you want to connect and touch Yes, Pair or OK, depending on the device, to authorize the connection. Enter the device's pairing code, if prompted to do so. Repeat this process for each device you want to connect to your smartphone or tablet.

I bought a cheaper smartwatch (Otium Gear S) for work purposes. I always have my bluetooth headset around my neck all day for taking phone calls (Galaxy note 4). I thought it would be great to have a smartwatch so when I get incoming calls I can just answer from my watch and talk on my bluetooth headset without even having to take my phone out of my pocket. Awesome, right?
Well as I was sitting there trying to figure this out, I quickly realize that every time I tried to connect both my headset and smartwatch, one or the other would connect and the other would disconnect(Cant connect 2 bluetooth devices at once). Is there a way around this?
Or do I possibly need to get a smartwatch that is NFC capable (Like the Sony smartwatch) so I can pair my headphones through bluetooth and my watch with NFC to my phone?
I more than appreciate all responses and help, I've spent hours on google with no REAL answer.

Bluetooth is a really helpful technology that offers you the ability to wirelessly connect devices to your iPhone. Whether you need a keyboard to make it easier to type, or you want to be able to listen to your music without disturbing people in your office, there are Bluetooth devices to solve your problem.
But what if you want to connect your Bluetooth keyboard to your iPhone so you can type a long email, but you are already listening to music through your Spotify account? Fortunately you can connect a keyboard and a pair of headphones to your iPhone at the same time, allowing you to use two Bluetooth devices at the same time.
If you are attempting to connect two devices at the same time and are having trouble, then try connecting them in a different order. For example, I was having difficulty connecting my headphones and keyboard at the same time. But when I connected the keyboard first, then connected the headphones, everything worked properly.
Apple actually states that Bluetooth can support up to 7 simultaneously connected devices, but that 3 or 4 is a practical limit. You can read more about it here.
In my experience with testing simultaneous Bluetooth devices with the iPhone 5 in iOS 7, I was only able to output audio to one pair of Bluetooth headphones at one time. Both could be connected at the same time, as in the image below, but the iPhone would only output Bluetooth audio to one pair of headphones at one time.
I thought that this might simply be an issue of Bluetooth audio only being able to output audio to one device, but the same result occurred when a wired pair of headphones and a Bluetooth pair were connected at the same time. So it seems that the iPhone can only output audio to one device at one time. The only solution to listen to audio on multiple headphones would be to use a headphone splitter, like this one. You could also use a Bluetooth headphone splitter like this Kokkia branded one from Amazon (if you have an iPhone with a 30-pin connector), or this other Kokkia model that connects to the 3.5mm jack on your iPhone, for iPhone models without a 30-pin connection.
The Bluetooth headphones that I was trying to pair were this pair from Sony and this pair from Rocketfish. The Bluetooth keyboard is this model from Logitech.

I have a pair of Bluetooth headphones which I'd like to use with my phone and computer. They are currently paired with the computer and are working fine. Is it possible to pair them additionally with my phone, maintaining both pairings, so that I can use the device with either of the hosts without repairing every time I want to use them?
I have a Creative AIRWAVE Bluetooth speaker at home which I've paired with multiple phones at the same time, I'm just wondering if I can do this with any Bluetooth device.

As it turns out, yes, you can pair multiple 'hosts' with a single device.
Once the device has been connected to device A, connection attempts from device B will fail.
In my case, I've set my Android phone to not automatically connect to the Bluetooth device. Whenever I want to use it, I disconnect it (not unpair) from my computer and then attempt a connection from my phone, and vice-versa.
TL;DR: It works.

At least some Bluetooth headphones can maintain a simultaneous connection to two devices. For example, with the Bose headphones I just purchased, I can simultaneously connect to my phone and my laptop, and play music on either one without unpairing/pairing or switching Bluetooth on/off. Starting music on one device stops the music on the other device.I suggest downloading a copy of the user's manual for the headphones you are considering, and reading it carefully to determine if they support this functionality.
